THA members are invited to participate. Tables and chairs will be setup in the park,, thanks to Councillor Joe Mihevk. The Tollkeeper’s Cottage will be open so that bathroom facilities will be available and they will also be selling light refreshments. Members are invited to have one or two tables to exhibit their displays and goods for sale. These tables will be placed in the flat area of the park, above the cottage and under the trees for shade.

This will be the first year to have a Heritage Showcase in the summer and if successful, we expect to have one each year after this in different areas of the City.

This designated 1835 cottage was visited by over a hundred guests who viewed the restored interior and furniture of the cottage and the addition that is to be used as a museum and meeting room. The Chair of the Community History Project, Jane Beecroft, told of the ten years of work that members and volunteers had accomplished and the audience gave her a huge applause.
